Tea Boutique Suite Staring Cup of Tea
Today I’m sharing the new Tea Boutique Suite from the 2022/2023 Annual Catalog with you. This suite is wonderful and the Designer Series Paper is so pretty. The artistic design team from Stampin’ Up did good designing this around the new In Colors this year. The colors go together perfectly and really set off the designs on the papers. I look forward to sharing cards with you from the Cup of Tea Boutique Suite over the next year.
Let’s Get Started
- Fold your card base in half on the score line and burnish with Bone Folder.
- Emboss your layer of Tahitian Tide with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to card base.
- Adhere strip of Designer Series Paper to card front.
- Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out the Starry Sky cardstock with the Stitched So Sweet Die (die is approximately 3” x 4-1/4”).
- Stamp the White panel of cardstock with the Hello stamp from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Starry Sky Ink. Stamp the delicate greenery stamp from Cup of Tea in Parakeet Party Ink so it looks like it’s coming out of the cup. Adhere this panel to Starry Sky panel and then attached to card front with Dimensionals.
- Stamp the flower stamp in Petal Pink ink on a piece of scrap white cardstock and then again in Sweet Sorbet. Cut both out with the coordinating Teacup Dies. Add flowers with glue dots to greenery.
- Using the Teacup Die cut out a Tea Cup from a piece of Tea Boutique DSP.
- Adhere a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to the back of White Cardstock 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” and cut out with delicate tea cup design die. Adhere this to the Tea Cup you cut out above. Adhere to white panel on card front.
- Tie a bow from the Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven and attach to card front with a glue dot.
- Adhere strip of Designer Series Paper to the White Cardstock Panel and then stamp sentiment from the Hand-Penned Stamp Set with Tahitian Tide Ink. Adhere Panel to card inside.
- Add Wink of Stella to flowers on card front.
- Remember to stamp back bottom center of card with a stamp from the Limited-Edition Stamp set.
- Using Liquid Glue adhere a 6” x 2-1/4” piece of DSP to envelope flap and trim to fit. Stamp front of enveloped with delicate greenery stamp in Parakeet Party ink.
And now you have a beautiful card to brighten someone’s day.

- Tahitian Tide: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4” on long side for Card Base, 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
- Basic White: 2-1/2” x 3-5/8”, 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”, 4” x 5-1/4” (inside) , scraps for stamping
- Starry Sky: 3-1/4” x 4-1/4”
- DSP: 1-1/2” x 5-3/8”, 7/8” x 5-1/4” (inside strip)
