Today I’m sharing the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Jungle Pals stamp set for a child’s birthday card. This was a fun card to make and there was no wrong way to do it. In the video I show you how to color the sloths and to add fur with a color pencil. The video card that I used for the pictures in this blog has a different sentiment in it than the sample first made. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making and sharing it with you. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions
- Prepare cardstock/DSP according to Cutting Directions.
- Fold card base on score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Adhere DSP to Basic Black Cardstock then adhere to card base.
- Stamp 2 Sloth’s in Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. See video for coloring suggestions. After coloring with Stampin’ Blends use a white color pencil to add some fur to sloths. Crop with coordinating die after coloring.
- Crop 2 trees out of Pecan Pie Cardstock. Add Pecan Pie Ink to each tree with a Dauber. Adhere one to left side of card front, lining the straight edge of tree to the bottom and side edge of DSP (tree should go to top edge of card base). Turn the second tree upside down and adhere to bottom and right side edge of DSP.
- From the Mossy Meadow Cardstock crop 4 of the large leaves die. Use Mini-Dimensionals to adhere 2 leaves to bottom edge of DSP starting on the left side and go across to right edge of DSP (use 4 mini-dimensionals along bottom of leaves only).
- The Garden Green Cardstock is used for cropping the 2 fern leafs and the two longer skinny leafs (you need 3 of these). Add to card front using Mini-Dimensional and/or Glue Dots.
- Crop 3 or 4 of the 2 single leaf dies from Old Olive Cardstock (the leaves dies are two separate sizes), add to card front along the trees with Glue Dots.
