Artistically Inked Simple & Quick Birthday Card
Today I’m sharing with you this quick and simple Artistically Inked Happy Birthday Card. Stampin’ Up! new Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath Inks are very pretty and soft looking, working well with the other colors to create a watercolor wash look. Thank you for checking out this card. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions for Artistically Inked Happy Birthday Card
- Start with stamping the large and small leaves 2 times each in Granny Apple Green. Stamp the rose (looks like a rose I think) in Bubble Bath and again in Fresh Freesia ink. The big flower, ink the stamp in Lemon Lolly and with a dauber add Petal Pink ink around the edges then stamp. The center of the big flower is stamped in Daffodil Delight. Die cut out all images with the coordinating Artistic Dies.
- Stamp greeting in Granny Apple Ink, die cut out with Nested Essentials smallest die (smallest die of the longer ones).
- Fold the Lemon Lolly card base in half on the score line and burnish with Bone Folder.
- Emboss the white panel with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Wrap a piece of Petal Pink Ribbon about the panel and adhere the ends to back side. Add panel to card base with Dimensionals.
- Adhere greeting to card front with Dimensionals.
- Arrange the flowers and adhere to card front with Dimensionals. Center of large flower was added with a mini dimensional. Add leaves with Glue Dots. The 2 single leaves were added between the roses.
- Add Bubble Bath Opaque Ovals embellishments to card front.
- The inside is completed by stamping the saying from the Courage & Faith stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. The rose was stamped in Lemon Lolly ink.
- Complete the envelope by stamping the rose in Lemon Lolly ink on bottom left corner.

- Lemon Lolly: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
- Basic White: (3) 4” x 5-1/4” (front, inside and 1 for stamping), 4” x 1-3/4” (saying)
