Thoughtful Expressions With Flight & Airy Card

Flight & Airy Card

Three of my favorites products from the 2024 January – April Mini Catalog. Thoughtful Expressions is a great bundle, the dies are a must have. The Flight & Airy DSP along with Softly Sophisticated Bundle are from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. You just can’t go wrong with these items.

To me this is a Quick & Simple card. The Designer Series Paper does most of the work. The Radiating Stitches Die are a wonderful picture frame to the birds you cut out withe the Thoughtful Expressions Dies.

The only stamping was for the greeting and the inside sentiment. The card is easy to assemble once you cut everything out. So have fun and enjoy making this card or one like it. Happy Stamping!

Card Directions

  1. Fold Fresh Freesia card base in half on score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
  2. Emboss the Fresh Freesia 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” panel with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder, adhere to front of card base.
  3. Add a panel of Flight & Airy DSP to center of card front with your favorite adhesive.
  4. Crop a 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” panel of Fresh Freesia with the largest Radiating Stitches frame die, place the next size frame die centered inside the big one, tape in place so they don’t move, crop at an angle. Using Dimensionals adhere to card front centering it.
  5. Next, crop a piece of Flight & Airy DSP with the 2nd largest rectangular die (fancy ends) centered around 2 birds. Adhere to card front, centering it in the frame.
  6. Stamp greeting in Fresh Freesia Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. With scissor snips cut right side at an angle, adhere to bottom right corner of frame with Dimensionals.
  7. Embellish with Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
  8. To complete the inside add a strip of DSP to left side of Basic White Cardstock panel. Stamp sentiment in Fresh Freesia Ink, adhere to inside of card.
  9. The envelope was finished by adhering a piece of Flight & Airy DSP to envelope flap. Trim off excess paper.

This is a beautiful card and I will certainly be crafting this one in the morning
Thank you so much for sharing. Since I do not have the Radiating Stitches Dies I will have to use another one.
    Thank you again for sharing.

    1. Thank you Yvonne. If you have the stitched rectangle dies or another set of rectangle dies they would work great also. It’s amazing what we can do with what we already own. I do love the impression that the Radiating Stitches Dies give. Happy Stamping!
