Thank you for joining us for Quick & Simple Friday. For you today is the Painted Lavender & So Sincere card. The Painted Lavender stamp bundle is probably my favorite from the Spring Mini Catalog. I sure hope it is carried over to the annual catalog. We will find out in a couple weeks. Either way the designer series paper may not be so make sure you get some while you can. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions
- Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
- Fold Card Base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Stamp greeting in Gorgeous Grape Ink to Perennial Lavender DSP. Note: make sure your ink pad is a little juicy before stamping on the designer series paper so it shows better (do as I suggest, not as I do, LOL)
- Adhere Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper Gorgeous Grape Cardstock panel. (Note: if you would like to save cardstock you can crop the leaf from the middle of panel prior before adhering DSP. No one will be able to tell that you did that as the DSP covers it.)
- Wrap ribbon around the panel and tie into a knot. Add to card front.
- Crop the leafy pieces and stems from Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon & Gorgeous Grape Cardstock. Use Glue on the lower end of die leaves/stems to adhere to card front under the ribbon.
- With a Blending Brush add Lost Lagoon Ink to a Paper Butterflies Accent piece, adhere with a couple Glue Dots on top of ribbon.
- Embellishments used are the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
- For the inside stamp sentiment in the Pretty Peacock Ink onto White Cardstock. Stamp the Flower stamp in Fresh Freesia Ink to bottom left corner then adhere to inside of card.
- Complete the Envelope by stamping the flower stamp in Fresh Freesia Ink on the bottom left hand corner. Cover the Envelope flap with a piece of Perennial Designer Series Paper with Glue, trim off excess.

Cutting Directions:
- Lost Lagoon: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base), Scrap (die cut stems)
- Gorgeous Grape: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” (front panel), Scrap (die cut leaf piece or you can cut from middle of front panel)
- Pretty Peacock: Scrap (die cut leafs)
- Basic White: 3-3/4” x 5” (inside)
- Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4” x 5” card design is landscaped.
