For you today, I’m sharing two cards made using the Happy Little Things stamp set and both Flowering Zinnia and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper for a very quick & simple card. This is the same stamp set I showcased for the Online Exclusives on Monday.
On the Simply Zinnia card I wanted to make one that anyone could easily copy where you don’t need any other equipment other than a Paper Trimmer. Then on the Perennial Lavender card I step it up a bit by heat embossing the sentiment and then cropping it with the Happy Little Things Dies.

Card Directions
- Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
- Fold Basic White Thick Card Base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Stamp the upper part of card base from with the outline “wishing” stamp in Berry Burst Ink and then the solid “you” with the same ink.
- Adhere Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper to card front.
- On Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/2” x 3/8”, stamp greeting in Berry Burst Ink. Trim ends and adhere to card front using Mini-Dimensionals, lining up with right edge of card base.
- Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
- Inside was finished by adding a 5/8” x 5-1/4” strip of designer series paper to 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White Cardstock, adhere to card inside. If stamping a sentiment, stamp prior to adhering to inside.
- Envelope flap was finished with 6” x 2-1/2” Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper, trim edges after adhering with Liquid Glue.

Cutting Directions:
- Basic White Thick: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base), Fresh Freesia on second card.
- Basic White: 2-1/2” x 3/8” (sentiment), 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), Gorgeous Grape for sentiment on second card.
- Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4” x 3-3/4” (card front), 5/8” x 5-1/4” (inside strip), 6” x 2-1/2” (envelope flap), Perennial Lavender on second card.
