Today we are taking another look at the Earthen Textures stamp set and companion products before they retire in 6 weeks. For you I made two Quick & Simple Thank You cards using the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. These cards are suitable for all skill levels.
Below you find a picture of a second card made with the same stamp set and Designer Series Paper. Only this was done in Moody Mauve and Bubblebath Cardstock. Ink colors were Moody Mauve, Smoky Slate and Pebbled Path. Ribbon is Natural 1/4” Wavy Trim. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions
- Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
- Fold Grey Granite Card Base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Emboss the Earthen Elegance DSP with the Crosshatch 3D Basic Embossing Folder, adhere to Basic Black Cardstock panel.
- Wrap 3/8” Inner Braid Misty Moonlight ribbon around center of Basic Black/Earthen Elegance panel adhere ribbon to back side then adhere to front of card base.
- Stamp the vase in Grey Granite Ink on Basic White 2” x 3-3/4” Cardstock. Cover all but top 1/16th of vase with mask or sticky note. The spread out branch stamp with inked in Smoky Slate Ink, stamp off once then stamp lightly so branches are coming out of vase (stems will stamp on your sticky note/mask). Leaving the mask in place, stamp the ferns to come out of vase. Remove mask/sticky note and adhere to 2-1/4” x 4” Basic Black Cardstock panel.
- Use Dimensionals to adhere stamped panel to card front centering over ribbon.
- Stamp greeting onto scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Crop with Stylish Shapes Die, adhere to card front with Dimensional and a Glue Dot.
- For the inside, stamp the fern stamp on Basic White Cardstock inside bottom left corner with Misty Moonlight Ink. Adhere to inside of card.
- The envelope was finished with a piece of DSP on the Envelope flap and the fern stamp, stamp on the bottom left front corner in Misty Moonlight Ink.

- Grey Granite: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
- Basic White: 2” x 3-3/4” (stamped front panel), 4” x 5-1/4” (inside)
- Basic Black: 5-5/16” x 4-1/16” (front layered panel), 2-1/4” x 4” (layered front panel)
- Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” (front layer)
