Blueberry Bunches Watercoloring Card & Video Tutorial

Blueberry Bushel

The Blueberry Bunches stamp set is perfect for watercoloring/painting. Normally I will use Stampin’ Blends to color my stamps but this one was screaming for watercoloring. It’s always good and fun to do something new. See pictures of products used in this card by scrolling down to near Botton of page.

So grab your water painters, some ink and paper and let’s have some fun painting. Happy Water painting!

Card Directions

  1. Stamp the Blueberry stamp in Black Stazon Ink onto Thick Basic White Cardstock. Colors used to paint the blueberries are Blueberry Bushel & Blackberry Bliss. Leaves were painted with Garden Green Ink. Using one of your large stamp blocks, add a drop of each ink to it (leave space between them), add a couple drops of water from water painter to the ink. We are watercoloring on cardstock so remember to go lightly with how wet your brush gets. See video for how I painted them. Let dry while assembling card base.
  2. Fold card base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
  3. Adhere the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper to card base front.
  4. Using a strip of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock to middle of card front.
  5. Stamp Greeting just under the blueberry branch in Blueberry Bushel Ink. Crop with Scallop Contour Die. Emboss with the Crosshatch Basic 3D Embossing Folder (online exclusive). Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to card front.
  6. Embellish with Tinsel Gems Four-Pack embellishments.
  7. Double a piece of 2023 – 2025 In Color Jute Trim, Boho Blue, tie a bow and adhere to card front with Glue Dots.
  8. The inside of card was completed by stamping sentiment in Blueberry Ink onto White Cardstock. Add a strip of designer series paper to bottom, adhere to inside of card.
  9. For the Envelope Flap, emboss the Blueberry Bushel panel with the 3D Basic Crosshatch folder. Use Liquid Glue to adhere to envelope flap.
