Available starting September 6th is the Stampin’ Up! Stars of Night Stamp Bundle, part of the O Holy Night Suite Collection. The Stars of Night Dies work with the Stars of Night Hybrid Embossing Folder to give you the details you see on the star.
This is really an awesome suite that brings people of faith together with their love of crafting Christmas Cards expressing their beliefs. I happen to think this is the best ever faith based collection I have seen from Stampin’ Up! and I look forward to using it a lot this season.

Card Directions
- Fold card base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Die cut out the 12 point star die out of More Dazzle Gold Glitter Paper.
- For this next step we will be using the Stars of Night Hybrid Embossing Folder and the die with the 3 stars. Open the embossing folder and put the top (side with Stampin’ Up! logo) on the Cut & Emboss Machine, plate #1, with the back side still open. Place dies in the folder so the cutting side is facing up. Place Gold Foil on the center star of the die. Close Folder and cover with plate #4, run through machine. Open folder and remove your embossed and die cut star.
- Place 3 Dimensionals straight down the middle of the foil star making sure they are close enough to fit for adhering this star to the 12 point star, adhere the two together.
- Next we will heat emboss with Gold Metallic Embossing Powder the starburst stamp. To determine placement of stamp, lay the 2 stars you just made on the designer series paper to get an idea of where to stamp the starburst. Once you figure out exact placement, stamp with VersaMark and Heat Emboss with Metallic Gold Embossing Powder (hint – don’t forget to use the Embossing Buddy where you’re embossing to remove static cling and any oils from touching it.). Embossed with Heat Tool.
- Emboss the O Holy Night DSP with the Stars of Night Hybrid Embossing Folder lining up the center of the big star on embossing folder with the center of the embossed starburst. Adhere panel to the Night of Navy Panel.
- Using your favorite adhesive, adhere embossed panel combo to card base.
- Use Dimensionals to attach the Foil & Glitter Star on top of the star that is embossed on the DSP.
- Heat Emboss the greeting on Night of Navy Cardstock with White Embossing Powder. Cut the greeting apart between “magic” and “of”. Adhere the greetings to card front with Mini Dimensionals.
- Embellish card front with the Adhesive-Backed Star Trinkets. A large one on the center of the star, 3 small ones around the card front (hint – place on the embossed stars on the DSP).
- The inside was completed by stamping the large star onto White Cardstock in Boho Blue Ink making sure to stamp off first. Stamp saying in Night of Navy Ink over the large star. Use the small 3 star stamp and Boho Blue Ink to add little stars to inside.
- For the envelope measure and cut a piece of DSP to fit the envelope flap. Emboss the DSP with the Star of Night Hybrid Embossing Folder. Adhere to envelope flap.

- Basic White Thick: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
- Basic White: 3-3/4” x 5” (inside)
- Night of Navy: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” (card front), 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), 3/8” x 5” (greeting)
- O Holy Night Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4” x 5-1/2” (card front), measure envelope flap for DSP
- Gold Foil: 2-1/2” x 3-1/4” (Large star)
- More Dazzle Specialty Paper: 3” x 3” (12 point star)
