Celebrate the beauty of the Christmas season with the Shepherd’s Care Stamp Set. This faith-based stamp set features beautiful imagery with detailed watercolor elements representing the story of Jesus’s birth and faith sentiments. It offers various creative possibilities: You can build a scene combining the images of your choice, try out different coloring techniques and tools using the open line-art images of the set, or let your creativity flow by pairing together the desired designs and greetings to personalize each of your crafts.
This is a Distinctive stamp set. Its special texture adds depth and dimension in a single step, creating photorealistic images. Think outside the box and remember this stamp when making next year’s Easter cards. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions
- Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
- Fold the Very Vanilla Card Base in half on the score line, and burnish it with a Bone Folder.
- Adhere the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” panel from the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper to the Very Vanilla card base front.
- Stamp the star in VersaMark on the 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” panel of Night of Navy Cardstock, then heat emboss with the Gold Wow Embossing Powder.
- Using White Craft Ink, stamp the city stamp onto the embossed Night of Navy panel, letting it dry. Once the white craft ink is dry, emboss the panel with the Birchwood 3D Embossing Folder and adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the large Shepard stamp in Smoky Slate Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and color with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the image out and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Heat emboss the greeting in Gold Wow Embossing Powder, die-cut out with the smaller Country Side Corner Dies, and adhere to the card front.
- Embellish the star with the large Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
- For the inside, stamp the sentiment onto a 3-3/4” x 5” panel of Basic White or Very Vanilla Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink. Stamp the city stamp in Memento Black or Night of Navy Ink in the bottom right corner, then adhere this panel to a panel of Night of Navy Cardstock, then adhere to the inside.
- On the Envelope Flap, I stamped a greeting from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set (retired) in Night of Navy Ink.
