Card Directions
- Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
- Fold the Basic Black Card Base in half on the score line, and burnish it with a Bone Folder.
- Adhere the 4-1/16” x 5-5/16” Lemon Lime Twist panel to the card base front.
- Using the 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” Basic White panel, heat emboss the greeting on the upper right-hand corner.
- Die-cut the kettle out of Basic Black Cardstock. Next, figure out where the top of the black kettle will be, taking into account the 1/2” tall wood base it will sit on. Mark it with a pencil just below the top of the kettle.
- With the Blending Brushes, add Lemon Lime Twist Ink so it comes out of the top of the kettle and upper sides, then Pumpkin Pie Ink above it and Balmy Blue Ink. Follow up by adding a layer of smokey slate Ink and Night of Navy Ink to get the desired shade.
- Stamp the bubbles in Basic Gray Ink to come out of the top of the kettle, and then adhere the layer to the card front.
- Adhere 3-5/8” x 1/2” Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the blended panel, and then add the Basic Black kettle to sit on top of it.
- Die-cut the two bottles out of Basic White Cardstock; the kettle drips, and the tall bottle contents out of the 2024-2026 In-Color Glimmer Paper. The round bottle contents are die-cut out of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Adhere the bottle contents to the bottle and then add the bottles to the card front with Mini-Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the kettle drips with Seal or Liquid Glue.
- Stamp the books and the crow in Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, color with Stampin’ Blends, and crop out with the coordinating Potion & Spell dies. Add to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- For the inside of the card, stamp the sentiment in Basic Grey Ink onto a 3-3/4” x 5” panel of Basic White Cardstock. Use a Blending Brush to add Smoky Slate Ink along the edges, and then go over most of it with Night of Navy Ink to get a smoky blue color. Adhere this panel to a 4” x 5-1/4” panel of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, then adhere to the inside of the card base.
- Die-cut the broom handle from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and the broom straw from Crushed Curry Cardstock. Adhere both pieces to the inside of the card.
- Finish the Envelope flap with a panel of Basic Black Cardstock embossed with an appropriate Embossing Folder (this was Spider Web 3D, retired).
