Today I’m sharing an elegant card made with the Stampin’ Up Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. Have you used the Craft White Ink before? Either way join me as I show you how to bring the flowers to life. Don’t you like the way it highlights the flowers on the Black Cardstock? So easy to make this card. I hope you’ll give this technique a try. Happy Stamping or should I say embossing!
Card Directions
- Fold Card Base in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Emboss the largest Basic Black panel with the Basic 3D Crosshatch Embossing Folder. Wrap the Black & White 1/4” Gingham Ribbon around the panel and tie into a bow, adhere to card base front.
- With the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder emboss the smaller Basic Black panel. Use a Dauber to lightly rub Craft White Ink over the flowers then adhere to Basic White panel. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the “Thinking of You” from the Go To Greetings in VersaMark Ink onto the strip of Basic White Cardstock (Hint: remember to use the Embossing Buddy on the paper before stamping VersaMark Ink). Cover with Black Embossing Powder, heat with Heat Tool until melted. Crop with the Stylish Shaped large banner die. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to card front.
- Add Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to card front on the smaller flowers. Apply a couple black Classic Matte Dots to the greeting.
- To complete the inside, adhere the strip of DSP to left side of Basic White Panel, adhere to inside of card.
- For the envelope use the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the envelope flap.

Cutting Directions:
- Basic White Thick: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
- Basic White: 3-3/8” x 4-5/8” (front), 4-1/4” x 1-1/2” (greeting), 4” x 5-1/4” (inside)
- Basic Black: 4-1/16” x 5-5/16” (front bottom panel), 3-1/8” x 4-3/8” (front top layer panel)
- Delightfully Eclectic 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper: 3/4” x 5-1/4” (inside)
