Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones Glow in the Dark Card

Bag of Bones “No Bones” Card with Video Tutorial

For you, a sneak peak of the new Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones stamp bundle and accessories. This is such a fun set to play and create cards with. I’m not a halloween card fan but this set is making me a convert.

Them Bones Designer Series Paper is really spooky. It must be the nurse in me that loves of those skeletons, them bones… Happy Stamping!

Card Directions

Fold Black Cardstock in half on the score line, burnish with Bone Folder. This is your card base.
Adhere the bat designer series paper to card base front.
Position the tombstone die on the right side of Gray Granite panel at a tilt, die cut out. Cut the die again on the left side. Emboss the panel after removing the tombstones with the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to card front with Dimensionals.
Stamp the dog and 3 bone body parts on Glow in The Dark Cardstock in Black Embossing Powder. To emboss rub the paper with embossing buddy were stamping. Stamp the stamps in VersaMark Ink, then sprinkle with Black Embossing Powder, melt with Heat Tool. Die cut out with the coordinating dies.
For the skeleton, die cut out of Them Bones Designer Series Paper with the coordinating die.
Stamp greetings and bats onto tombstones in Early Espresso or Memento Black Ink. Stamp the bats in the same ink. For the “No Bones” I just inked those 2 words by covering the other words with tape or post it notes (remember to remove tape or post it notes prior to stamping).
Arrange the pieces from the last 3 steps to how you like them. Start attaching to card front by using Glue Dots for the tombstone on the right side, one at the bottom and one on the top. Next add the bones at an angle to make them look like they’re crawling out of tombstone.
For the left tombstone, first attach the skeleton with a Dimensional behind the head and the bent arm. Use Glue Dot on the feet or legs. Add the tombstone next.
Finish the card front by adding the Glow in the Dark Bats and Ghosts. Die cut out some bones from the Glow in the Dark Cardstock, add adhesive sheet first to back of cardstock, then add a couple bones to card front, one in the dogs mouth.
The inside was completed by first adding a panel of Designer Series Paper to card inside. With the 4th largest Deckled Rectangle die, cut out the Very Vanilla Cardstock. Stamp the saying in Pumpkin Pie Ink and adhere to card inside.
Finish the envelope flap with a piece of Designer Series Paper, trim to fit.

Basic Black: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
Grey Granite: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” (card front)
Very Vanilla: 3” x 4-1/4” (inside saying)
Glow in the Dark Cardstock: 3” x 2-1/2” (stamping)
Them Bones Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” (cut for landscape card front), 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), piece for envelope flap (measure flap for size)
