Countryside Corners Quick & Simple Card -

This month I’m highlighting some of the retiring items for you. For your Quick & Simple card this week we are featuring the Countryside Corners stamp set before it retires.

The good news is that the Countryside Corners Dies and the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper are not retiring. These dies are wonderful and a must-have. Other items retiring are the Go To Greetings stamp set and the 2023 – 2025 In-Color Dots.

I made one simple card then I made a second one, stepping it up, directions for this card are below the step-by-step directions. Happy Stamping!

Card Directions

Cut and score all cardstock and papers as listed under Cutting Directions below.
Fold Basic White Thick Card Base in half on the score line, and burnish it with a Bone Folder.
Emboss the Misty Moonlight 5-3/8” x 4-1/8” panel with the Basic 3D Crosshatch Embossing Folder, and adhere to the card base front.
Crop the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper with the 2nd largest Countryside Corners Die.
Stamp the 5-1/4” x 4” Basic White Cardstock with the Countryside Corners stamp in Night of Navy Ink. Die Cut this panel by taping in place the Coordinating Dies to cut each border design out. Using Liquid Glue, glue the 2nd and 4th largest borders to the Designer Series Paper panel you just cropped. Adhere to card front.
On the center solid die cut, stamp the greeting in Boho Blue Ink. Add to card front with Dimensionals.
Embellish with Tinsel Gems Three-Pack in the Misty Moonlight color.
On the inside, add a piece of 5-1/4” x 5/8” Designer Series Paper to bottom of the 5-1/4” x 4” Basic White Cardstock panel. If desired, stamp sentiment in Night of Navy Ink.
The envelope was finished by gluing a 6” x 2-1/2” panel of Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap. Trim off any excess overhang.

CARD DIRECTIONS/PDF

Step It Up

Step it up a notch by switching Cardstock colors to Boho Blue and Night of Navy. The stamp was embossed onto Night of Navy Cardstock with the 2nd and 5th largest borders used. The greeting was stamped on Basic White Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink then cropped with the second to smallest die. Tie a length of 2023 – 2025 In-Color Jute Ribbon Trim around the embossed panel before adhering it to the card base. The designer series panel was glued to a panel of Basic White Cardstock, for support, and then adhered to the card front with Dimensionals. Embellish with 2023 – 2034 In-Color Dots.

Basic White Thick: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)
Basic White: (2) 5-1/4” x 4” (stamp image, inside)
Misty Moonlight: 5-3/8” x 4-1/8” (card front)
Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper: 5-1/4” x 4” (front), 5-1/4” x 5/8” (inside), 6” x 2-1/2” (envelope flap)
