My inspiration for this Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest Embossed Christmas Card was a designer series paper from when the peaceful cabin stamp set came out a couple years ago. That paper was so beautiful and simple, just like this one. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making and sharing it with you. Happy Stamping!
Card Directions
- Fold Card Base in half on score line, burnish with Bone Folder.
- Emboss the Smoky slate panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder. Adhere to card base with favorite adhesive.
- Stamp the group of 3 trees from Forever Forest stamp set in VersaMark Ink after dusting the Basic White panel with the embossing buddy. Cover the ink with Silver Embossing Powder, shake and brush off excess powder. Using the Heat Gun, apply heat to powder till melted, keeping heat tool about 10” from your work so you don’t burn it. Let cool.
- Once your tree embossed panel is cooled, stamp the snowflake stamp in VersaMark Ink all around the panel, I did stamp on the trees some too. Follow all the steps for heat embossing as above only using White Embossing Powder. Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
- Heat emboss the greeting in Silver Embossing Powder following above directions. Adhere to card front at top with Dimensionals.
- Crop the mountain die from Forever Forest Dies lining the bottom of die on the edge of a white piece of cardstock then crop. Adhere to card front with Dimensionals. Cut off any overhang. I consider these to be snow drifts around the trees.
- Tie a double bow out of the Silver & White 1/2” Sheer Ribbon, attached to snow drifts.
- Add some Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins to card front as desired.
- For the inside stamp the saying from Wreaths All Around stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink onto a White Cardstock panel. In the bottom left corner stamp a tree one or two times. Adhere this panel to a Smoky Slate Panel then adhere to card inside.
- Finish the envelope by stamping the tree in the bottom left hand corner. Another suggestion is to emboss a piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhere to envelope flap, trim off excess.

- Basic White: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base), 5-1/8” x 3-7/8” (card front), 5” x 3-3/4” (inside), 1-1/2” x 4” (greeting), 2” x 4” (mountains/snow drifts)
- Smoky Slate: 5-3/8” x 4-1/8” (card front), 5-1/4” x 4” (inside)
